🍏 TopChop Zero – Ultra Low-Calorie Forage for Greedy or Overweight Horses

TopChop Zero is a naturally low-calorie fibre blend made from chopped British oat straw, delicately flavoured with apple and mint to enhance palatability — without any added molasses or sugar coatings.

Designed specifically for horses and ponies that are overweight or prone to laminitis, TopChop Zero offers an exceptionally low energy density (DE 4MJ/kg), making it ideal for:

• 🐴 Extending forage without adding calories
• 🐴 Supporting digestive health during forage gaps (e.g. overnight stabling)
• 🐴 Mixing with richer haylage to reduce digestive upset and loose droppings

Compared to late-cut meadow hay (DE 7–8 MJ/kg), TopChop Zero acts as an ‘empty calorie’ fibre source — helping to reduce overall nutritional intake while maintaining hindgut function.
